Annual "Back-to-School" Coffee
Wednesday, August 19, 2026
Come mingle and meet with community groups at the PTO’s annual Back-to-School coffee event.
Head to the gym right after drop-off to celebrate the first day of school, meet other parents, shop school spiritwear, and visit tables hosted by local organizations. We’ll provide coffee, pastries, and plenty of opportunities to learn more about community offerings. Hope to see you there!

The hospitality team strives to support and delight teachers and staff throughout the year on behalf of the student and family community. This sunshine committee hosts the back-to-school welcome coffee event, coordinates monthly staff appreciation lunches, leads staff appreciation week, and stocks the staff snack and beverage bar throughout the year.
Staff Snack & Beverage Bar
Families are welcome to donate store-bought snacks and beverages for our hard-working staff to enjoy. Simply drop them off at the Front Office with Lyn and the Hospitality Team will ensure they're stocked in the Staff Lounge.
Favorites include individually-wrapped chips, popcorn, trail mix, and sweets. The staff also enjoy Major Dickenson's Keurig coffee pods as well as Tea K-Cups.
Monthly Staff Appreciation Lunches
The PTO sponsors monthly appreciation lunches for all staff to enjoy. It's a big treat that shows our collective appreciation for all they do! The staff loves the opportunity to nosh on great food while connecting with each other over a meal. Throughout the year, parents from each grade level are invited to contribute with homemade treats, drinks, or store-bought snacks to keep in the staff lounge. Class Coordinators will distribute sign-ups in advance of grade-level sponsored lunches with additional details.
