After a successful pilot program last year—where EVERY student visited the garden multiple times—we’re excited to introduce our new Garden Educator, Natalie Schluter.
Natalie is an outdoor educator who inspires students to connect with nature through gardening, stewardship, and hands-on discovery.
Her work spans both urban and rural settings, from vibrant San Francisco to the wild Adirondack Mountains, blending environmental education with cultural connections, outdoor skills, and community engagement.
Natalie can't wait to get started in September! She’ll be working with students in our outdoor classroom during the fall and spring, with a pause over the soggy winter months.
Join us in giving Natalie a warm welcome, and thank you to the PTO for supporting this work to deepen student engagement and foster a lifelong connection with nature.
