We’re excited to announce that Neil Cummins has been accepted to pursue a third year as an Ocean Guardian School!

The first Ocean Guardian Club meeting will be held Monday October 27 from 2:50-3:30pm in Room D1.

The NOAA Ocean Guardian School program invites students to become real-life ocean and watershed protectors! It's free to participate!

This year, 4th and 5th grade Ocean Guardian Club members will help design and plant a new native habitat garden—turning a dry, empty space into a lively home for butterflies, birds, and other local wildlife.

Club members will map the area, choose native plants, share their project with others, and track how the habitat grows and changes over time.

To celebrate their hard work, students will create a colorful mural showing the pollinators they’ve helped bring back to the garden.

No worries if you can’t make tomorrow’s meeting, just plan on coming to the following meeting on November 3.
