We believe in nurturing both our environment and our community, and this week was a perfect example.
Thanks to the expertise and generosity of 23 visiting Marin Master Gardeners Pruning Guild, our maple trees on campus are healthier and more vibrant than ever. Their careful pruning not only improved the health of these trees but also strengthened our connection to the natural spaces that make our school so special. This is a real-world example for our students of community service and environmental stewardship.
These pruning sessions are part of our ongoing partnership with the Marin Master Gardeners, who regularly return to care for all our trees at no cost to the school. Their visits contribute to the volunteer hours required for their annual certification, and we’re incredibly fortunate to benefit from their time, expertise, and dedication.
A special thank-you to Kristina Wilson, a Marin Master Gardener and Neil Cummins parent, for once again organizing this meaningful event. We’re already looking forward to welcoming them back in 2025.
The impact of their work will be felt for years to come, as our trees continue to grow stronger and our campus becomes an even greener, more inviting space. 🌳
Here’s to healthier trees!
